Bunbury Senior High School is a comprehensive school situated in the heart of the city of Bunbury. We have in excess of eighty full and part-time teachers and support staff with a student enrolment of almost 1,000. Key features of the school are the commitment of teachers to establishing and maintaining caring relationships with their students and fostering strong student performance. We embrace an inclusive approach to education and our school community contains students with special needs, as well as representatives of a broad range of ethnic and religious backgrounds, drawn from a broad catchment including the central city, the shires of Dardanup, Boyanup and Donnybrook and further afield.
All students study courses across the eight Learning Areas and in upper school are able to choose from a variety of pathways including vocational and academic. There is considerable emphasis on helping our students make wise choices as they proceed through the transition stages of their schooling.
Bunbury Senior High School has a strong commitment to improving the learning environment and has an ongoing renewal and refurbishment program to ensure this. We believe that every member of our community has the right to learn in a safe and supportive environment and strive to develop this ethos within our student body.
